Amarnath with Kashmir Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival Srinagar

You arrive at Srinagar Airport. Our driver greets you and takes you to your hotel. After check-in, you relax for some time. Later, you visit local attractions. You explore Mughal Gardens like Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. You also visit Shankaracharya Temple, which sits on a hill and gives a great view of the city. In the evening, you can enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake. The calm water and surrounding mountains create a peaceful feeling. You return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2
Srinagar - Sonamarg - Baltal

After breakfast, you start your journey towards Baltal. You pass through Sonamarg, also known as “Meadow of Gold.” The road offers beautiful views of mountains, rivers, and green valleys. You can stop at Sonamarg for some time and enjoy the natural beauty. After that, you continue your drive to Baltal. This place serves as the base camp for Amarnath Yatra. Day 3
Baltal - Amarnath Cave - Baltal

You wake up early in the morning and start your trek to Amarnath Cave. You can choose trekking, pony ride, or helicopter (if booked). The path takes you through mountains and narrow routes. You stay careful and follow the instructions. After reaching the cave, you take darshan of the naturally formed ice Shivling. Devotees believe Lord Shiva shared the secret of life here. You spend some time in prayer and then begin your return journey to Baltal. After reaching Baltal, you take rest and have dinner. Overnight stay at Baltal.

Day 4
Sonamarg - Srinagar

After breakfast, you leave Baltal and drive back to Srinagar via Sonamarg. You can again enjoy the beautiful views during the journey. After reaching Srinagar, you check into your hotel. You can spend the evening at leisure. You may visit local markets for shopping. You can buy Kashmiri shawls, dry fruits, and handicrafts. Dinner and overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 5
Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar

After breakfast, you go for a full-day trip to Gulmarg. Gulmarg is famous for its green meadows and snow-covered mountains. It also offers one of the highest cable cars in the world, known as Gondola ride. You can enjoy the Gondola ride and see amazing views from the top. You can also try some fun activities like horse riding or snow play (in winter). After spending a good time, you return to Srinagar in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 6
Srinagar - Katra

After breakfast, you check out from the hotel and start your journey towards Katra. The drive takes several hours, but you enjoy scenic views on the way. You pass through mountains and valleys. After reaching Katra, you check into your hotel and relax. You prepare for the Vaishno Devi Yatra next day. Dinner and overnight stay at Katra.

Day 7
Katra - Vaishno Devi - Katra

Early morning, you begin your trek to Vaishno Devi Temple. You can choose to walk, hire a pony, or take a helicopter ride. The path remains well-maintained, and many pilgrims travel daily. After reaching the temple, you take darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi. Devotees feel peace and spiritual joy here. After darshan, you return back to Katra. You take rest at the hotel after the journey. Dinner and overnight stay at Katra.

Day 8
Katra - Amritsar

After breakfast, you leave for Amritsar. After arrival, you check into the hotel and relax. Later, you visit the Golden Temple. This holy place offers peace and spiritual comfort. You can also enjoy Langar (community meal). In the evening, you visit Wagah Border and watch the flag-lowering ceremony. The patriotic atmosphere makes this experience special. Day 9
Amritsar Departure
